Common questions
The app does not open a PDF. What should I check?
Confirm that the file is a valid PDF, fully downloaded and not damaged. Password-protected files require the correct password. Some uncommon image encodings or unsupported document structures may not open on every device.
Why does OCR ask for internet access on first use?
The compatible OCR component may be downloaded through Google Play services. Recognition then runs on the device.
Why is a created PDF branded?
Some newly created outputs in the free experience may include “Created with dEz PDF Reader Editor Viewer”. Remove Watermark or Lifetime Pro removes branding from future new outputs; it does not alter files already created.
How do I restore a purchase?
Use Restore Purchases in the app while signed in to the same Google Play account used for the purchase. Pending or refunded purchases do not provide an active entitlement.
How do I report a problem?
Email the app version, Android version, device model, steps to reproduce and the exact error message. Do not send confidential documents unless requested.
