Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how dEz PDF Reader Editor Viewer accesses, processes, stores and shares information when you use the Android application and related support services.
1. Summary
The app is designed as an offline-first document toolkit. PDF files, scanned pages, OCR results, visual signatures and temporary operation files are processed on the device whenever possible. The app does not provide an application-owned account system, cloud storage service or server that receives your documents.
2. Information handled by the app
Documents and files
You choose documents through Android's system file picker or create them with app tools. Files are processed locally. Exported documents are saved to a location you select or shared through Android only after you initiate the action.
Camera and images
Camera access is requested only when you choose document scanning. You may also select compatible images from your device. Camera permission is optional for other features and can be revoked in Android Settings.
OCR text
Text recognition is performed on the device. A compatible OCR component may be downloaded through Google Play services. The selected document image is not uploaded to an application-owned server for recognition.
Visual signatures and form content
Visual signatures, form values and related working data are stored locally as needed to provide the feature. A drawn signature is a visual mark and not a qualified electronic signature.
Preferences and usage limits
Language, theme, privacy choices, feature preferences, local usage counters and entitlement status may be stored on the device. Entitlement information may be checked against Google Play Billing.

4. Advertising and privacy choices
The free experience may display ads. In regions where consent or privacy choices are required, the app uses Google User Messaging Platform. You can reopen available privacy choices from the app's Settings screen. Ad availability and personalization depend on your region, consent choices, device settings and Google service configuration.
5. Purchases
Optional products may include Remove Ads, Remove Watermark and Lifetime Pro. Google Play processes the transaction. The app reads purchase status to provide the related entitlement. Pending purchases do not unlock an entitlement until Google Play confirms completion.
6. Data retention and deletion
Local app data remains on the device until you delete it, clear app storage or uninstall the app. Exported documents remain wherever you saved them and must be deleted from that location separately. The app does not have an account database to delete. Detailed instructions are available on the Data Deletion page.
If you contact support, the information in your email is used to answer your request and maintain necessary support records. You may request deletion of support correspondence by emailing durcorps@gmail.com. Do not send confidential documents unless specifically requested and necessary.
7. Security
The app avoids broad storage access, does not request permission to enumerate all installed apps, limits file sharing to configured app paths, disables cleartext network traffic and does not include an application-owned document upload server. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed absolutely secure, so keep device security and backups under your control.
8. Children
The app is a general productivity utility and is not specifically directed to children. Parents or guardians should supervise device, advertising and purchase settings where appropriate.
9. International users
Google services may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their processing is governed by their terms, privacy policies and applicable legal safeguards.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated when app features, third-party services or legal requirements change. The current effective date is shown at the top of this page.
