How to Scan Paper Documents into PDF on Android

A readable PDF scan starts before you press the camera button. Lighting, page position and review have a larger effect on quality than aggressive filters.

Prepare the document

• Flatten folded corners and remove staples where safe.
• Use a plain background that contrasts with the paper.
• Clean the camera lens.
• Turn off reflections from lamps or windows.
